Dr. Jack Evans
The
Ministers’ Institute Conference, January 16 – 21, 2010, will honor
Dr. and Mrs. Jack Evans, Sr. of Terrell, Texas. This comes in
recognition of their 42 years of unselfish service as President and
first lady of Southwestern Christian College and to the Church of
Christ brotherhood.
Dr. Evans is a renowned Bible scholar, a
passionate advocate for fundamental apostolic doctrine and “truth of
the book” gospel preaching. He is a champion for higher education
and has led Southwestern Christian College for 42 years.
Dr. Evans’ legacy of integrity and his
commitment to educational excellence is eclipsed only by his humble
spirit of compassion for all humanity. He has been conducive in
catapulting many ordinary people, especially young people, toward
extraordinary endeavors. Dr. Evans has made a positive impact on our
lives and has made footprints of unparalleled servant-leadership for
us to emulate.
We, here at MIC and the Lauderdale
Lectures, invite the brotherhood to share in this opportunity to
express our appreciation and admiration to Dr. Evans and Mrs. Evans.
Please join us here at MIC during January 16–21, 2010 as we turn the
page in “his-tory”, honoring them on this grand and propitious
occasion.
